is the credit squeeze affecting anyone or is it a figment of the media's imagination....?

I think that the banks are being stricter with who they lend to at the moment. Some of the mortgage people have dropped from 100% LTV to 95% LTV.

The northern rock business has got everybody nervous, but hey the people who work for the banks that caused the propblem in the first place dont care they made they're money and are sitting pretty. I also heard from a reliable source that the HSBC bank are on the brink of a northern rock type meltdown and the BOE are preparing to prop them up, but it will take a helluva lot more money to stabilise that sob
